    The short version

Gentle yoga in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Low-impact, non-heated, and kind on the body. Invitation-only in McMurray, PA.

Gentle Yoga in the South Hills

Gemini Yoga offers gentle yoga in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, from a small private studio in McMurray, PA. If most classes near you feel too fast, too hot, or too much, this is the opposite. Slow, kind, and easy on the body.

Gentle does not mean empty. It means we move at a pace you can actually feel. We build warmth from breath, not from a heated room. You leave loose and calm instead of wrung out.

    What makes Gemini different

Everything nearby seems to be power, sculpt, or hot. Our gentle yoga sits in the quieter lane on purpose.

    • Non-heated. No sweat lodge, no dizziness. Just a comfortable room and steady breath.
    • Low-impact. Movements that respect stiff joints, tight hips, and backs that have had a long week.
    • Breath-led. The breath sets the pace, so nothing feels rushed.
    • Taught, not run. Stefani Rose (Laughing Lotus, RYT-500), Darcy Lyle (teaching since 2003), and Tisha Samuels (500-plus hours, ayurveda and restorative) guide every class.

    Who it is for

This is for the person coming back after an injury, a surgery, or a long break. For stress that lives in the shoulders. For anyone in Peters Township, Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Bethel Park, or Canonsburg who wants to move without pain or pressure. Beginners are safe here. So are bodies that no longer bend the way they used to.

    How the invitation works

Gemini is invitation-only, and that keeps every class small and unhurried. You join through a current member, or you send us a short request to be considered. We do not post a schedule or prices publicly, and we share the exact McMurray address only once you are approved. The room stays private, and the group stays familiar.

A small room is a safer room. When the class is tiny, your teacher can adjust a pose for you, slow a transition, or simply notice you are having a hard day.
