Serving the South Hills
The short version
Slow, breath-led yoga for runners at a small private studio in McMurray, PA, near Pittsburgh.
Gemini Yoga is a private yoga studio in McMurray, PA, near Pittsburgh, and it is a good place for runners to undo some of the tightness the road puts in. The room is small and light-filled, with space for eighteen mats, and the pace is slow. We work with the breath first and let the movement follow. If you spend your weeks logging miles, this is the counterbalance.
We open on September 14, 2026. If you run the trails and roads around the South Hills and want to keep your body moving well, you are welcome to find your way in.
Running builds strength and stamina, but it also tightens hips, hamstrings, and calves, and it rarely asks you to breathe slowly. A calm, deliberate practice gives all of that back. This is not a workout on top of your workout. It is the recovery side of training.
This suits runners across the South Hills and greater Pittsburgh, from Peters Township and Upper St. Clair to Mt. Lebanon and Canonsburg, whether you are training for a race or just running to clear your head. You do not need to be flexible. Most runners are not, and that is exactly why this helps. Come as you are, tight hamstrings and all.
Our teachers keep it grounded and slow. Stefani Rose (RYT-500), Darcy Lyle (teaching in Pittsburgh since 2003), and Tisha Samuels bring years of experience to a practice that supports your body rather than beating it up.
Because the studio is small and private, we keep it invitation-only. You come in through a current member, or by sending a short request. The public address is McMurray, PA, and we share the exact address once you are approved.
If your legs could use a slower day and your breathing could use some training too, we would love to meet you. Request an invitation and tell us a little about yourself and your running, and we will be in touch.
